MEMORIES

When mornings are dull and nights are blue,

I Ponder the paths which I’ve walked through.

Gather the memories of laughter with friends,

Where fun and frolic never used to end

Admire the gifts which god has sent

Wanted anything more I never meant

In my ears that mirth is still alive,

Life take’s a turn back I do believe.

Sometimes they dupe me at other they make me live

Those lovely moments, deep in my the heart are still so cherished

Sooner or later distress may go and life will revive

But in these dreary moments, memories- the only hold to survive

I will grow, move ahead and time's going to fly

The moments have gone but the memories inside will never die

Distances

These distances between us, as they grow

Make’s my heart go blue and low

On closing my eyes, the fragrance of your body lingers on my mind

The more I try to move away from you, get even closer to the things left behind
Every breath of mine has your name engraved on it

And so will it remain is a promise so true in every of it’s bit

Though the acrimony and the tears are given by you

But my eyes are wet the world shall never know

We may move on, walk away, and never turn back

Yet the only thing 'YOU' in my life will lack

Tomorrow I may smile, laugh and sing

But without you in my life it'll remain incomplete a thing

Yesterdays never comes back again

No hopes for lost love getting revived

Today may die in the hope of a better tomorrow

This love was meant to add in our lives only a little more sorrow

Let us move, part now, forget it and find a new way

Leave behind this bitter part so that the future doesn’t sway....
