Life o’ life!

Life o’ life! I thought you were so simple
But as I grew, I realized you have complications in ample
You always say there is a sunny after every rainy day
But this hope instead of giving, many times takes away
I thought the way you make us follow was in fact flat & straight
And the dreams you makes us dream were right and perfect
I thought you’ll give us smile for every tear we shed
And fulfill our deep wishes, desiring which our lives we led
The reality turned out to be absolutely different
Your ways of giving contentment are very torment
You ask a heart for a heart and life for existence
That’s how you give every life essence and substance
You have no mercy you only have rules
Giving and taking, thereby making everyone a fool
You show as you are very generous and just
But to get something from you, follow your rules, is a must
You always enjoy playing with everyone hide and seek
When opportunity comes close by you make it more bleak
You laugh when we go through tough times or we suffer
That’s the way you choose to make us really tougher
You make our lives go through twists and turns
And our energy becomes the fuel which burns
This is your only method of teaching
And today I’ve also started it preaching :)
